The HOK Research team played a pivotal role in recruiting participants for a comprehensive online survey focused on life sciences stakeholders. The study was commissioned by a leading market research agency, with the end client being one of the most prominent material providers for the biotech and pharma industry.
Key Challenges
This project marked the fifth wave of a repeated study, conducted in two parts: a 7-minute CATI (Computer-Assisted Telephone Interview) screener interview, followed by a 30-minute online survey. In total, 1074 interviews were conducted across a diverse sample source, including Panels, Primary Care Physicians (PCPs), and Desk Research. The survey was administered in multiple languages, including English, German, Korean, and Chinese.
Approach
The study was designed to delve into companies that provide products and services to research, testing, and manufacturing customers within the life sciences and biotech industry. The primary objectives were:
Understanding Experiences: To gather insights into respondents' experiences when working with these companies.
Brand Awareness: To gauge general brand awareness among participants.
Product and Service Usage: To assess current usage patterns of related products and services.
The end client aimed to evaluate the reception of their marketing campaigns and gain a deeper understanding of what participants seek in a brand. Importantly, the study was not intended for selling or promotion but rather for comprehending respondents' viewpoints. The goal was to empower the end client to better understand their customers, adapt future developments, and align their offerings with customer needs.
